Dr. Ryan Steck is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and refractive surgery. Dedicated to providing cutting-edge care, he utilizes the latest advancements in lens technology to correct near vision and astigmatism and offers state-of-the-art, minimally invasive treatments for glaucoma.
Dr. Steck earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and a Master’s Degree in Microbiology from Brigham Young University. He earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California before completing an ophthalmology residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident.
In addition to his clinical practice at Aloha Laser Vision, Dr. Steck serves as Chief of Refractive Surgery for the prestigious Warfighter Refractive Surgery Program at Tripler Army Medical Center, where he has performed hundreds of advanced refractive surgeries for soldiers.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Steck enjoys biking, tennis, playing the drums, and scuba diving. He is also fluent in Thai.
